IP and Infringement Manager nGimat
Description:Individual will research potential patent infringement, prepare correspondence with outside entities and both support and interact with Patent Infringement Litigation Attorneys assuring completeness of infringement case and enforcement. Individual will also work with the companys R&D personnel to ensure timely filing and correspondence related to current patents and applications and will be responsible for the overall organization of internal IP files. They will help in formulating licensing deals, NDAs and other agreements with prospective companies.
Qualifications Necessary:
Bar admitted
Strong understanding of U.S. patentability rules
Experience working with patent infringement
Experience with government proposals, contracts, and reporting requirements (SBIR knowledge is helpful) preferred
Excellent writing skills and organizational skills
Flexibility in work schedule and a dedication to meeting deadlines
Some understanding of process and materials technology
Strong computer skills, including advanced word processing, database, presentation, and Internet.
The position is very end objective-oriented and the individual should have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and work well with outside firms as well as nGimats scientists and executives.
Flexible Work Schedule: While this position requires a presence in the office, we are open to being flexible with the candidates schedule. Given the right candidate, this could be a part-time position or, alternatively, some of the work can be performed from home.
Reports To: Chief Technology Officer
Salary: Commensurate with experience most likely in $60-80k range with objective significant bonuses obtainable.
