SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for assisting in establishing and executing of a global partner marketing and communications
strategy in a way that directly supports the overall Infor Partner Network (IPN) long-term business strategy (e.g. double the
IPN channel business over the next 2 years). This role is responsible for generating awareness, maximizing communication
vehicles and motivating the partner ecosystem to successfully build and grow a business around Infor solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ï'· Manage and create all communications for the Infor Partner Network
ï'· Manages overall execution of the IPN communication calendar
ï'· Ensures execution of consistent programs globally
ï'· Oversees communications cadence, including notifications & newsletters
ï'· Defines, create and launch partner recruitment campaigns from a communication standpoint, working with the
recruitment team to ensure all enablement â€" created tools, delivered training and created metrics etc., are in place
to determine campaign effectives
ï'· Supports the IPN Training & Certification team to help drive individuals to enablement events through succinct
messaging and communication
ï'· Assists with the agenda, content and meeting coordination of IPN Channel Advisory Committees
ï'· Assists with the communications and/or events for IPN team
ï'· Creation of collateral web content
ï'· Lead new product launch efforts in channel including collateral, communication strategy, training tools and related
activities
ï'· Align channel marketing communications strategies with brand strategies
ï'· Work closely corporate marketing to ensure a balanced marketing effort
ï'· Track market and channel trends and adjust channel strategies accordingly
ï'· Ensure effective means of communication to IPN (e,g, social media, video, events etc)
ï'· Work closely with Product marketing managers to support ongoing priorities, including product presentations,
trade shows, research and competitive intelligence
ï'· Ensure communication calendar is update on any and all internal and external portals
ï'· Portal, updating documents, posting new information, etc.
ï'· Serve as a point of contact for partner questions, including how to navigate the partner portal, where to find
resources, report on bugs, etc., and also serve as the point person to articulate business needs for portal
ï'· Responsible for advocating for the channel at product launch meetings (represent concerns/requirements of the
Channel), and for developing the product launch plan for the Channel
ï'· Evangelize and champion channel mission, purpose, and needs internally
ï'· Day to day engagement with executive management, team peers and other internal groups
ï'· Understanding of channel operations, channel databases as it relates to communications (lists etc)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
ï'· 7+ years channel / partner related sales/program experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
ï'· The ability to work well with people from different disciplines and geographies with varying degrees of related
knowledge and a strong understanding of internal/external political environment with demonstrated success in
managing diverse internal/external issues.
ï'· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and considered an above average communicator with
good listening skills, ability to pull out and summarize information and tailor communication style
ï'· Ability to take a consultative approach to understand requirements, drill into details, and resolve issues.
ï'· Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.
ï'· Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
ï'· Infor is a fast-paced environment; the ability to multitask on different projects concurrently and react deftly to
movements in the business is critical
ï'· Strong ability to facilitate change and lead change management on a team.
ï'· Exceptional organizational skills and experience
ï'· Proven track record of achieving results managing a team and in creating high performing teams.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
ï'· Experience with SFDC a plus
