ISP Support Technician I/II (DOE) Integra Telecom
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionLooking for someone who can work after hours and weekends. This position will provide a positive experience for all customers calling into our ISP and Customer Repair teams by adhering to customer service standards.
Answer incoming calls related to all Integra provided service (DS0, DSL, T1, Internet, MPLS, SIP, and ISP Soft services).
Where applicable, troubleshoot basic connectivity, IP, email, DNS, and network issues. Otherwise will create a trouble ticket to be worked by others within the team
Convey complex information to customers in a manner that they understand.
1 year ISP / Telephony experience or equivalent knowledge
Strong oral and written communication skills
Type 30 wpm
Working knowledge of Data including DSL.
Working knowledge of email/webhosting/DNS and applicable related software.
Understand Network, data, and soft service concepts.
Understand how to troubleshoot network, data and soft service issues.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt and remain calm in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.
