Issaquah Store Retail Sales Associate - Part Time Cleanscapes

Job Purpose:The Retail Sales Associate will work with the Store Manager and Call Center to set up our Gilman Village store for long-term profitability by selling brand-appropriate products, providing customer service support, and building relationships with our customers. Staff will educate customers about waste reduction and sustainability, and will sell products which are reusable, recycled, or refurbished. The CleanScapes Store is open Monday - Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday noon to 5pm. This position is located in Gilman Village, Issaquah, and may be required to attend occasional meetings in Seattle.
Responsibilities:
Sell CleanScapes products.
Provide superior customer service to customers and anticipates product needs.
Educate customers about waste reduction.
Create, lead, and run events to attract customers to the store.
Continually expand knowledge of sustainability and CleanScapes products and services.
Maintain visual standards and cleanliness of the store.
Stocks product on sales floor.
Stocks product sale experience and run the cash register.
Identify and research new products for sale.
Open and close out the store each day.
Process customer payments as necessary.
Communicate and cooperate with other CleanScapes staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications):
Experience in a retail environment.
Six months to one year experience in customer service preferred.
Excellent communication, strong listening and interpersonal skills.
Passion for and experience with products designed to reduce waste.
Ability to be pro-active, work independently, and collaborate with others on your team.
Great presentation and customer service skills.
Commitment to providing exemplary service with uncompromising integrity.
Ability to achieve results with a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, problem solving, and action.
Excellent computer skills.
Available for occasional evening events and inventory are required.
