?General Description:
The IT Administrator is a role responsible for the deployment and ongoing management of all Peak 10 provided laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, and the software for use on those devices. Candidates will need to have experience with enterprise deployments of hardware and software and the management of assets. Candidates should also have experience with management of VOIP systems to perform daily tasks such as additions, deletes, updates and reporting from VOIP systems. IT Administrators must be technically competent as well as show a capacity to provide exceptional customer service to all employees within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Implement Rollout of all new Desktop hardware and Softwareo Review current deployment tools and perform all maintenance for those tools as required not excluding recommendations for replacement o Review current hardware and software standards and provide recommendations for improvements to Corporate IT Managero Install, configure, and maintain all desktop images, software, and updates o Monitor IT Helpdesk Ticket queue and resolve tickets in a timely mannero Participate in all Domain Administrator calls and provide solution to recurring desktop related issues
Manage Software and User Administration Taskso Configure all Adds, Changes, and Deletions of users from the VOIP system using CISCO Call Manager and other voice system management tools.o Design and manage reports for all inbound and outbound calls for the customer support centero Configure desktop software for userso Create user accounts and manage user access to system resourceso Instruct train users as required on access and use of Peak 10 unique systems
o Assist users with the configuration of BYOD devices for access to the Peak 10 environment
Manage Peak 10 Hardware and Software assetso Work with Fixed Asset team to track and report all laptop, desktop, and software license movement o Work with current vendors during the procurement of all desktop hardware and software related purchases o Help ensure that facility is always ?audit ready?
o Assist FOE with vendor management
Collaborate with Central Resources on Corporate IT Support Issues
o Communicate with Central Support Supervisors and/or Managers on any Internal IT process issues that they may receive calls or tickets
o Provide feedback on all company wide support processes
o Maintain relationship with all support operations centers to facilitate market to market consistency
Research new Technologies o Research new desktop related technologies that may provide improved service to the Corporate IT User communityo Communicate new technology solutions to management as required
Requirements:
AA, BS, or previous experience in technical related field
Prior experience with support of internal users in a corporate enterprise environment
Demonstrable time management skills
Familiarity with an Enterprise deployment tool and imaging software
Familiarity with various server, application, and network technologies including:
- CISCO Call Manager and Voicemail software
- Remote Desktop, SSH, Console Access
- Microsoft Server Technologies (IIS, SQL, Exchange, etc?)
- Microsoft Desktop Technologies (Win7, Office 2010, Lync 2010, Visio, Great Plains, CRM, etc?.)
- VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies
- Linux (or other -nix platforms)
- Antivirus products (Ex: AVG, Sophos, Trend Micro, etc?)
- Patching software (WSUS, etc?)
Excellent people and proactive communications skills
Experience with ticket documentation system preferred
Strong attention to detail, and a capacity to follow procedures
