NetMotion Wireless is looking for an experienced Applications Manager to provide project management, people management, business analysis and technical expertise to the IT team. This individual will partner with all departments to ensure alignment of tools and resources to meet current and evolving future business needs including major system enhancements, new solution implementations and upgrades.

NetMotion Wireless Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) software gives organizations with mobile workforces the connectivity, visibility and control needed to solve the common challenges of wireless computing. Our software is the only tool on the market that creates and sustains secure connections to enterprise applications over any network, ensuring mobile workers are more efficient and productive. At the same time, it provides detailed visibility into the performance of public and private cellular networks, managed through a centralized control console. Manage the NetMotion Wireless internal applications, including Salesforce, Great Plains, Cast Iron and Sharepoint, and understand how they may interoperate with other departmental tools (e.g., Marketo).
Manage the internal applications team; Mentor and develop team members; Provide technical direction.
Work closely with Sales, Support, Marketing, Accounting and other departments to understand business objectives and ensure that internal applications can be used effectively and efficiently so that each department can meet those objectives.
Interpret business needs and determine project plans and priorities by gathering information, analyzing requirements and evaluating output requirements and formats; Construct workflow charts and diagrams; Understand system capabilities.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders; Share implementation best practices; Recommend solution alternatives. Ensure solutions are scalable and meet overall business requirements.
Manage project schedules, budget and delivery.
Advise on key architectural decisions for Salesforce.com and other applications;
Perform user acceptance testing and provide training to end users
Back up Web Developer; Develop solutions and write Apex/Visual Force code; Design and develop new applications; Perform testing.
Support the administration and configuration of the Salesforce CRM; Provide direct support to salesforce.com users on Salesforce.com related production issues.
Document and maintain standards and Salesforce security.
Must have a big picture understanding of business and departmental needs and processes and the interaction between departments and applications ? specifically Sales, Marketing, Support, Accounting and Development
Ability to translate high level business and departmental requirements into design and development of business applications
Knowledge of Salesforce Customer Portal, Partner Portal and Communities
A demonstrated ability to architect enterprise level solutions on Salesforce
Apex and Visual Force experience required; SQL, HTML, Java Script and SOQL experience strongly preferred
9+ years in an information technology role, delivering projects to internal customers
3+ years implementing, configuring and administering in Salesforce.com strongly preferred
Technical degree or equivalent experience
Able to effectively communicate and translate technical issues to stakeholders
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Familiarity with Agile Software Development Life Cycle and Release Management. Experience organizing daily stand up meetings and sprint planning.
