IT Assistant eEye Digital Security
eEye Digital Security is looking for an IT enthusiast with an intermediate level of desktop support administration knowledge to be part of our IT team. This position will assist with end user requests, desktop configuration and routine maintenance. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to receive real world work experience as part of an IT team supporting multiple remote offices, as well as a complex infrastructure.
Conveniently located on the UC Irvine campus, eEye works closely with the university in recruiting and training college students. This position includes flexible daytime hours to accommodate class schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Configure, set up, and troubleshoot workstations and notebook computers.
Create and maintain image installs for various hardware platforms and configurations.
Respond to help desk requests via phone and online help desk system, and follow-through on all assigned tickets to meet and exceed user expectations.
Support client-based applications.
Conduct research on workstations products. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase.
Maintain internal controls and records on IT assets.
Support remote employees with system and connectivity needs.
Manage software licenses, software subscriptions and hardware maintenance.
Create documentation for internal distribution.
Required Skills & Experience:
Required: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Required: Proactive, efficient, organized and diligent.
Required: Professional demeanor with company employees.
Required: Be able to lift and move computers, monitors, etc.
Required: Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
Required: Previous experience with Windows desktop support.
Desired: Prior experience with network or desktop security.
