The Hosting IT Audit/Compliance Engineer will ensure successful audits and compliance requirements of our Plexus Cloud environments. This individual will perform all phases of an audit including risk assessment, planning, and identification of internal controls, audit programs and fieldwork. Evaluate audit findings and monitor corrective actions for effectiveness; performing extensive testing and auditing related systems; develop and document security procedures on best practices for testing methodologies for various environments. Remain up to date with new vulnerabilities, exploits, and provide proactively to management as required; work with external auditors; and complete all internal audit work in compliance with established audit methodology while meeting all organizational and professional ethical standards.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain Plexus Cloud policies, procedures, and controls.
- Analyze highly complex processes to support detailed audit documentation, representative of the current IT control environment.
- Continuously assesses opportunities to improve the internal control environment across the company.
- Develops and maintains productive team-oriented client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
- Maintains awareness of significant changes across the environment and the potential impact on the established control environment.
- Identifies technology risks and independently evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the information technology infrastructure and application controls, including security and internal controls.
- Works with the security and infrastructure teams to ensure constant compliance of the environments
