IT Business Analyst III
The IT Business Analyst III is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluate master data, business systems and user needs in a Healthcare IT environment. This individual will work with other members of the Program Management or Service Area Team to ensure a service is delivered across the organization. The role reports directly to the Director of Business Intelligence.
Leads the effort to manage Master Data across the Enterprise, and establishes processes to maintain it
Continuously monitors the master data processes for improvement opportunities, provides recommendations and assists with implementing changes that increase its efficiency
Works closely with client delivery managers (CDM), defines project scope and objective, creates business requirements document (BRD) to document end-user needs, and works with developers and CDMs to set expectations and obtain approval
Creates functional requirements documents, technical design documents and use cases as necessary
Analyzes data to identify issues/root cause, and resolves independently or through collaborating with other team members
Actively engages developers and QA analysts to ensure that requirements are understood, implemented, and tested
Assists manager in planning and establishing efficient processes for continuous improvement.
Identifies and tracks success metrics
Performs a variety of complicated tasks in a fast paced environment
May guide or direct the work of other team members
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proficient in process mapping, project management, relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.
Expert in Excel, MS Office
Proficient in HTML and SharePoint
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Position Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or in a related field from an accredited college/university
4 years experience in the field or in a related area, managing creation and implementation of a service area compenent, trouble-shooting
4 years demonstrated experience in SQL Server 2005 or above
3 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite including advance Excel (macros, pivot tables, linking, etc.)
Position Qualifications (Preferred)
Masters degree in related field from an accredited college/university
Experience within the healtcare industry
Knowledge of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
