Aerohive Networks is currently seeking a Business Engagement Manager (BEM) who will be responsible for ensuring a value-based partnership and highly productive relationship between IT and internal clients, overseeing a portfolio of IT projects, products and business processes. The successful candidate will bring broad IT management experience spanning projects and enterprise applications in both large and small-to-midsize business, and the ability to enhance IT performance and maturity. The BEM will be the project lead providing structure and leadership to process improvement projects as well as expertise in documenting new or improved workflows. This individual must have strong communications skills both verbal and written and like leading cross-functional project teams. The BEM is also responsible for understanding the Aerohive Networks business, industry and trends, and translating business needs into technical solutions along with overseeing delivery of IT services and projects to ensure internal client satisfaction.
Manages the relationship between specific business units and IT to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the client's needs
Function as an analyst and business partner to model, design, and build workflow and business solution
Collaborate with clients to define requirements and manage expectations and communications from project inception through delivery, including status updates, budget reconciliation, scope changes, etc.
Negotiates IT and business commitments, business benefits potential, technology options, cost and constraints and proposes alternatives to the business
Teams with business leadership, internal/external development resources and suppliers to ensure timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of IT solutions
Interfaces with the application development team to validate test results for new applications verifying that they meet the requirements of the business group
Proactively identifies recurring issues or ?value-add? areas to then propose process or systematic solutions
Maintain and document current and to-be process flows
Trains business partners on how to work with IT
Bachelor?s degree in the field of computer science or information systems
10+ experience in IT analysis, design and implementation
3-5 years of project management experience in IT applications
Domain expertise in Sales, Operations, and/or Finance and support systems in a high-growth environment
In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application
Experience defining business solutions leveraging SFDC
Track record of interacting and building relationships with CXO level clients.
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
PMP certification is a plus
