The day-to-day: As a top-notch IT Content Guru, you will?
Write awesome content that IT pros can?t wait to read. From contributions to the Spiceworks blog to live webinars to videos and speaking sessions, you?ll research, write and deliver credible and FUN content for IT pros ?round the world.
Stay on top of topics such as mobile device management, virtualization, managed services and more ? you?ll keep your finger on the pulse of IT with daily research.
Talk shop andreach out to Spiceworks users and industry experts online and in person to understand their needs and deliver killer targeted content for them.
Create and execute an editorial strategy with our marketing, sales, and community teams that serves both our IT pros? needs AND Spiceworks? adoption and usage goals.
Be our internal ?tuning fork? for marketing and PR. You?ll help guide our technical marketing voice and ensure we?re 100% credible when talking shop.
The must-haves: Your track record proves you?re?
A total techie. You sling tech talk with the best of them. You?ve probably got 5-10 years of experience in IT or a related field (IT analyst, IT journalist, tech product marketer). Technical chops are a must!
A really good storyteller. You?re a spinner of stories and you consistently deliver top-quality, compelling content ? be it written, spoken or otherwise.
An expert (project) juggler. With out-of-this-world project management skills, you multi-task and complete complex projects flawlessly under tight deadlines.
Pretty stinking good with PowerPoint. You know the power of an image, and you hate bulleted lists. Your presos make the audience sit up and say, ?Wow!?
Rabidly committed to excellence. Moving fast is no excuse for typos, technical errors and missed deadlines? in fact, they make you cringe. You?re comfortable getting and incorporating constructive feedback ? it?s all about being the best!
The IT Content Guru will report to the Director of IT Marketing.
