IT - Database Administrator SmartPak

This position will be responsible for executing database administrative and development tasks to monitor, tune, optimize and secure enterprise data stores. Will also be the primary business intelligence developer, writing queries and reports, enhancing our data warehouse and additionally develop solutions to facilitate data exchange with our partners and vendors.
The nitty-gritty:
Responsible for executing database monitoring, optimization and security tasks identified by IT Manager, Software Architect and CIO
Work with end users and IT Manager to define data structures, ETL scripts and queries in support of data warehouse
Support end users in understanding and use of reporting technologies; Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Excel, Powerpivot, Proclarity, and others
Will be heavily involved in production support and troubleshooting
Will work closely with development team on database aspects of projects
Work with end users to define, deliver and validate queries and reports using SSRS
Manage and automate the import and export of various data feeds between systems and between SmartPak and external vendors
Other exciting projects as they arise!
Position must have?s:
Completed Bachelor?s degree
2-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar position
Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 administration
Solid T-SQL/stored procedure skills. Ability to tune queries
Solid Entity Relationship Modeling skills
Experience writing reports with Sql Server Reporting Services or other reporting tool
Experience writing SSIS packages and ETL
Experience with Sql Server Replication
Familiarity with Data warehousing concepts and technologies. Experience with Analysis Services, ProClarity or other OLAP tools a plus
Knowledge of RedGateSql tools also a plus
