IT Director LogRhythm

LogRhythm is seeking an IT Director to join our team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado. The primary function for this role is to manage the IT Infrastructure for our current and growing IT capabilities, by exercising a combination of industry and practical experience and best practices, and providing leadership to a growing team of IT professionals. This role will be expected to provide technical management and leadership in the completion of various IT projects. Key Responsibilities:

Operational responsibility of all IT functions including Service Desk, Desktop, Server, and Network Management
Project Management of all IT initiatives
Security Operations Management for all IT infrastructure
Vendor, contract and licensing management for IT functions
Project Manage building relocation to a new facility in the first 6 months

Required Technical Skills:

7+ years IT infrastructure, maintenance and planning experience
5+ years IT leadership experience with increasing scope and area of responsibility
3+ years IT project management with increasing scope and area of responsibility
Have been responsible for a global IT infrastructure for medium sized business (100-500 employees)
Have built and maintained a data center for a medium sized business
Management of all Service Desk activities to meet or exceed SLAs
5+ years Networking experience in administration and/or configuring of routers, switches, and firewall devices
Solid understanding of network and host security and maintaining a highly secure operating environment.
Demonstrated experience managing external access with various VPN and Firewall products.
3+ years experience and working knowledge of installing, configuring and optimizing a VMware infrastructure
Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with IP telephone systems,
Demonstrated experience with data backup systems and DR planning
Windows Server 2008 enterprise architecture management
Demonstrated knowledge of sophisticated Active Directory environments
Demonstrated knowledge of Desktop Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, and Standard Operating Environment Management
Client software installation, integration, and configuration
Experience in IT vendor relationship management
Outstanding communication, coordination, and organization skills
Dynamic and collaborative oral and verbal communication skills

Valued Skills:

Software Start-up experience
Windows Operating Systems Management (MCSE, MCITP highly regarded
VMware Certifications are a big plus (VCP, etc.)
Other relevant industry certifications (MCP, CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
Security Information/Event Management solution experience
Degree in Management of Information Technology Systems, Computer Information Systems, Network Security
