IT Director NetMotion Wireless
NetMotion Wireless is looking for an experienced IT Director who will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions as well as provide management, direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Director will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Proactively develop and lead IT and Security strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals; Coordinate the evaluation, deployment and management of IT initiatives and applications across the organization.
Manage the Infrastructure and Applications teams; Mentor and develop team members; Provide strategic and technical direction.
Oversee IT projects including managing scope, resources, costs, timelines, quality and risk. Monitor all projects and ensure that appropriate project plans are developed, bought off on by stakeholders and deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain IT Operations standards, policies and procedures to support IT operations roadmap.
Develop appropriate vendor strategy for corporate systems support. Run RFP?s to assess best vendors. Maintain vendor relationships.
Develop, validate and manage capital budget for the company. Work with internal customers and executives to adequately forecast, estimate and anticipate technical requirements and needs.
Develop and maintain security roadmap for the organization and champion completion to ensure ongoing effective security program; Identify security risk issues to business assets and assist the organization in the application of suitable controls to mitigate the existing and emerging risks. This should be achieved by becoming a trusted business advisor, knowledgeable about security risk across the enterprise, and able to converse in business language.
Work closely with Sales, Support, Marketing, Accounting and other departments to understand business objectives and ensure that internal processes and applications can be used effectively and efficiently so that each department can meet those objectives.
Communicate positively and effectively with team and cross functional team at peer level, including project sponsors and stakeholders to secure buy-in among groups with disparate perspectives.
Manage project schedules, budget and delivery.
7+ years of senior IT management experience directly managing IT infrastructure, Service Desk and/or Network Operations teams.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to maintain complex IT infrastructure systems and processes that support business and corporate strategies and objectives.
Knowledge of ITIL Foundations and processes or related methodologies in areas such as risk management, business continuity, problem management, security management.
Experience building a DevOps culture, including aligning incentives between teams and creating a culture of collaboration and support.
Experience with implementing, managing and maturing cloud service models (SaaS and IaaS).
Experience with cloud architecture and deployment models.
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development methodologies; Must have a big picture understanding of business and departmental needs and processes and the interaction between departments and applications ? specifically Sales, Marketing, Support, Accounting and Development.
Ability to translate high level business and departmental requirements into design and development of business applications.
Knowledge of Salesforce Customer Portal, Partner Portal and Communities preferred.
Technical degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
