Seeking a motivated and outgoing individual in the field of Information Technology to work for a world leading Biotech Corporation.
Duties for this position include:
-Telephone support: Answering user phone calls and troubleshooting.
-Workstation Imaging: Use industry leading tools such as Microsoft SCCM to perform local or remote builds of laptop and desktop computing systems at Promega locations around the world.
-Perform desk-side technical support visits: Work with our internal customers to resolve their computer problems, or to install new functionality or software.
-Work with Promega employees on a global scale: Assist employees via phone, email or chat support in Promega locations such as: Australia; Japan; Switzerland; France; Germany; Spain; and more.
-Minor hardware repairs such as keyboard replacements on laptops or hard drive replacements on desktops, or installations such as CD or DVD burners.
-Equipment delivery: Deliver replacements for failing equipment or new computing systems.
-Testing: Assist with testing of new applications or upgrades.
-Physical Inventory: Assist in collecting data (serial numbers, asset tag numbers, make/model of machine, etc.) and conducting full physical inventory of all computing equipment.
-User documentation: Work with existing IT staff to produce end user documentation as needed.
-Equipment recycling: Assist in testing, tagging, and preparing outdated equipment for pickup and recycling.
