THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Tremor Video is seeking a very strong, desktop support administrator. As a Desktop Administrator, you will be supporting and maintaining the desktop environments of Tremor Video?s Corporate offices, as well as the VOIP telephony service (a hosted service) and the A/V infrastructure of the firm. However, the primary responsibility of this position will be to respond to and work towards resolution of helpdesk tickets Additionally, you may be involved in I.T. related infrastructure and service enhancement projects, if they have a desktop component.
You will be part of a 6-person team, including your manager.
The scope of work of this position includes:
Resolving desktop issues, resolving application issues (mac & pc), new hire provisioning, security management, monitoring and troubleshooting. This position requires expert competency with multiple desktop environments including Windows 7, Macintosh desktops and a small Linux presence.
The geographic scope of this position includes support and service delivery for the NYC HQ site as well as remote support for the various US locations of the firm and for the London and Singapore offices. You will also interact with vendor organizations that we have engaged both here and abroad to supplement our services.
This position will be measured by responsiveness to open tickets and time to resolution. User community feedback will also be a consideration.
3-5 years? experience supporting Mac OS, Creative suite, Office
3-5 years? Windows 7, internet browsers , LAN connectivity and network printing
3-5 years of experience in dedicated help desk customer support environment
Experience with Image, configure, and deploy Mac and Windows computer equipment with required items
Administration of users in Active Directory and Exchange 2010
smartphone support (iOS, Windows, Android, BlackBerry)
Experience with anti-virus software, Malware removal
Experience with VOIP phone system
Experience with Apple & PC hardware, Printer troubleshooting
Experience with web conferencing
Experience with audio/video equipment
Experience working with vendors for repairs
Familiar with operation of ticketing systems and their concepts.
Experience with remote control software to troubleshoot
Familiar with training documentation/user guides for common user issues
