IT Help Desk Zillow
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Zillow is seeking an energetic, professional individual with extra-ordinary communication skills to provide IT suppor to our growing office staff. The preferred candidate will have strong Microsoft operating system knowledge along with extensive experience troubleshooting various enterprise office applications and desk-side support.

?Handle incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with computer hardware, software, networking, or phone system.
?Work with users to determine source of issue and then carries out steps for resolution.
?Log all issues accurately for resolution in ticket tracking system in a timely manner.
?Identify and refer more complex issues or reconfigurations to the Tier 2/3 support team.
?Support and maintain various infrastructure services including printing, office telephones, video projectors, and client network access.
?Build, configure, and physically set up computers and accessories.
?Accurately update asset tracking database.
?Write or revise team process manuals and user accessed FAQ as directed by management.
?Help devise automation strategies and new, efficient helpdesk processes.
?Provide direct user support for PC, laptop, telephony system and direct support for user access to the corporate network, applications, and remote VPN.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
?Bachelor's degree or equivalent
?Two years of related experience.
?Self-starter with solid analytical and problem solving skills.
?Strong working knowledge of Windows XP/7 and Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010applications.
?Familiarity with Macintosh and Linux desktop
?Fluent in PC hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
?Strong organizational, customer service and interaction skills, along with outstanding verbal and written communication.
?Ability to manage realistic client expectations and deadlines.
?Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities and make decisions with limited information.
Familiarity with server class machines, racks, and cabling procedures desired.
?Experience working in a fast-pace IT organization.
?Experience supporting corporate PBX system preferred.
?Ability to lift 50 lbs.
