VISANOW seeks a Tier 2 Helpdesk Associate to join our IT team. The Helpdesk Associate will assist in supporting client computers, printers, and phones, as well as help to maintain email and user accounts for all VISANOW employees. This person must have an aptitude for quick troubleshooting and problem solving with a knack for organizing, prioritizing and multi-tasking. Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills are essential. The Helpdesk Associate must be passionate about technology and continuous improvement and thrive in a team environment.
Provide Tier 2 level support for laptops, desktops, cell phones, landlines and other technical equipment in a professional and timely manner
Respond to help desk tickets and efficiently prioritize proper responses in order to solve technology-related issues
Configure and troubleshoot computer, network and connectivity issues
Maintain our Microsoft networking technology including Server 2008/2012 and Windows 7/8 Desktop, antivirus, and license compliance (Windows, Windows Server, Office, MS SQL)
Provide LAN maintenance including TCP/IP, DHCP, VOIP, cabling, switch installation and configuration
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field
2-4 years IT helpdesk in a Microsoft environment
Intermediate knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2010/2013
Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Experience with Active Directory/Exchange
Experience with Telephony/VOIP
A+, Network+, Security+ or Microsoft certifications
