IT Helpdesk Technician Yelp
The Yelp IT Help Desk provides world class IT support to our global base of employees. The IT Help Desk Technician?s primary responsibilities will be to triage all level one support requests, resolve issues that are able to be addressed at the first level, and escalate issues out to the appropriate escalation resource.
You?ll get the chance to flex your technical muscles daily by providing quick, effective and polite customer service to our employees worldwide. Working with our IT Help Desk team in San Francisco, you will help us continue to support our employees in their goal to help connect people with great local businesses!
Phone, walk-up and, inbound ticket queue support for incoming global employee IT service requests
Resolution of first level IT service requests over phone and through trouble tickets
Determine proper escalation path for non-resolvable first level issues
Maintain Help Desk inventory of peripherals
Support hardware inventory control, machine imaging and prep
Monitor internal system notifications for proactive response, and communication of any outages or system down tim
Assist with Active Directory accounts & file share permissions
Min. 1 year HelpDesk Technician experience
Min. 1 year phone based technical support
Experience with Mac OSX 10.7+ in a support role
Experience with Windows 7 in a support role
Active Directory experience a plus
Experience working with remote control software
Process creation and documentation a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A sense of humor!
