IT Infrastructure Engineer ClearCube
The IT Engineer will report into the VDI CEO and will be responsible for maintaining server and desktop systems for the Company.Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
Providing helpdesk and support services to employees
Configuring new systems (laptops, desktops, mobile devices and servers)
Managing remote access (VPN, Logmein, RDP)
Communicating with IT vendors and providers, including ISP, hosted Exchange server providers, Web hosts and others
Managing business continuity and backup procedures
Managing security, anti-virus and anti-malware via centralized servers
Updating and maintaining IT policies
Maintaining usage records to assist with audit, security and other compliance matters
Installs, configures, and tests workstations with supporting hardware, software, and networking components
Technical Qualifications
Technical background in the following areas will be required:
Linux Administration
Windows Administration
Familiarity with Active Directory and Exchange Server
Networking configuration and setup (Network design, security, VPN, etc.)
Virtualization experience (VMware/Hyper-V and/or XenServer)
Experience with Blade systems, VDI and centralized computing are a plus
. Educational Qualifications
A BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Other educational degrees will be considered based on experience and expertise in the technical areas identified above.
