Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Architect, implement, operate, manage, and integrate enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
Define and maintain technology and integration models.
Provide the expertise and guidance to peers, leadership and associates on the overall infrastructure architecture.
Provide technical IT expertise to, and assist in, the selection of new hardware and software platforms which assists in attaining the enterprise architecture principles, policies and standards.
Document the infrastructure architecture environment and procedures to insure infrastructure remains cost effective, efficient, and of high quality.
Assist in design and setup of client secure remote VPN connections.
Assist in supporting provided infrastructure to our field employees.
Manage day-to-day IT operations.
Ensure maximum availability of computer systems throughout the company.
Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, applications, IT security and telecommunications.
Development and implementation of new systems.
Working with IT management to propose, agree and deliver IT service to a defined corporate Service Level Agreement.
Responsible for IT hardware, desktop hardware, and maintenance equipment procurement.
To develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
To develop and control the IT security policy.
Provide a monthly written report to the IT Director on all aspects of IT operations.

Education Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related field
Experience Requirements:
5+ years IT experience required
Experience in Windows, SQL, Exchange, and Linux administration
Experience in Backup/Recovery solutions
Experience in Remote Telephony
Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
Network topology and infrastructure expertise
Strong understanding of Virtual Private Networking
Strong understanding of server and workstation infrastructure
Strong understanding of high availability protocols and architecture
Strong understanding of IT security
Ability to understand and diagnose client-server architecture
Ability to keep up with technology trends and emerging best practices to consistently evolve current solutions
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Working knowledge of storage area network and network attached storage systems
Working knowledge of hand-held devices and their integration into VPN
Working knowledge of virtualization technologies
