IT Manager Acquia
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Acquia is growing at light speed and we need our IT systems to keep pace with the rapid expansion in our customer base, revenue and employees. We?re looking for an IT Manager who is both strategic and hands-on. We need someone who can take the lead in managing our business systems (SaaS CRM, accounting, etc.) and who can jump in and solve problems for individual employees, applications, and equipment. This person will work at our corporate headquarters in Burlington, MA and support our entire company, including our offices and employees across the North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
The IT Manager will manage a team that currently consists of two, a Help Desk Technician and a System Administrator. The IT Manager will also manage our business software, including both SaaS and on-premise software and proactively make recommendations to the IT Director for new products as the company's needs grow. This person will manage asset acquisition and asset tracking of all computer systems, software licenses and related inventories of equipment, telephony devices and accessories. To ensure new hires can be productive from day one, the IT Manager will work closely with HR to coordinate resource distribution to the appropriate on-boarding office for each new employee.
The IT Manager will manage our telephone system, including upgrades, telephones for new employees, configuring PBX call routing, and recommending and managing vendors for improved call center and integrations with business applications like Salesforce. This person will manage the office wiring and electrical installations, the conference room AV equipment and our wireless network. The IT Manager will monitor the help desk ticket queue and is expected to jump-in on critical tickets while managing ticket escalations.
Proven track record of successful IT management
Familiar with ITIL standards for operation
Experience Managing Cloud/ SaaS Service Providers
Experience with LanDesk or Casper Management Suite a plus
Intimate knowledge of Mac OS Preferred
Basic Windows and Linux knowledge
Comfortable with Help Desk operations
Working knowledge of network infrastructure and technologies
Working knowledge of VoIP telephony, DHCP, LDAP, VLAN, WAN
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Great communication skills
