In this role, the IT Manager will manage, support and maintain of the Global IT environment by managing projects, resolving and working escalated help desk issues, managing IT related issues, managing the configuration of hardware and software solutions, and managing the internal IT Helpdesk and staff. The IT Manager will also be responsible for the management and administration and internal support of the Company?s PCs, office printers, production servers, and related equipment. Tasks include but are not limited to end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations.
Oversee all phases of project from conception to completion by coordinating resources and timetables with internal IT resources, vendors and consultants by managing projects through the project lifecycles of initiation, planning, execution and closure.
Maintains IT organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing effective information technologies.
Manages and monitors the helpdesk tickets and support staff to ensure all tickets are resolved to the end user?s satisfaction.
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Utilizes monitoring tools to monitor and ensure all equipment in office locations are operational and working effectively.
Ensures the proper installation, testing and configuration of new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
Reports feedback to IT Management for escalation and proposes recommendations for resolution.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ensure that the helpdesk maintains inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
Documents internal procedures related to IT Help Desk processes.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology, Systems or related field.
7 years or more of relevant technical experience.
Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and manage time effectively.
Experience with Exchange or Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and Lync.
Experience with configuring and administering contact center and VOIP systems.
Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment (firewall, switches, access points etc.)
Experience with Data Center Management.
Experience with Global Domain and Active Directory management.
Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization environments.
Proficiency with Windows and MAC Operating Systems.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent management, troubleshooting, analysis and creative problem-solving abilities.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology.
Must be able to relay technical information to internal customers with varying skill levels.
Hands-on experience in a network engineer role.
Experience working with Managed Hosting Providers.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
