IT Manager Hearsay Labs
We're looking for our first in-house IT person to join our rapidly growing blah blah blah?.
Our single core value at Hearsay Social is customer success, and as our first IT person, your customers will be your teammates around the company. Your primary job is to ensure they can get their jobs done quickly, efficiently, safely, and happily. This means that we're happy to invest time, energy, and money as appropriate to ensure that our environment is conducive to maximal productivity and that "technology" blends into the background of daily work.
You'll be incredibly hands-on with everything from infrastructure and systems design, to end-user support (where possible, automating & training that away), and as the first person in, will largely set the direction for our IT going forward. We value automating absolutely everything, so hopefully you will too.
Our current priorities center around:
Scaling out our new user on-boarding process (imaging systems, provisioning, etc.)
Consistently enhancing our security posture,
Improved remote-collaboration systems (we recently invested in both a Double Robotics system and a TelyHD system in attempts to bring better connectivity to our remote sites).
Our current environment is primarily cloud services (Google Apps, SFDC, Dropbox, etc); Megapath hosted VoIP phone system; Cisco firewalls & switches onsite with Cisco managed APs (migrating to Meraki), random networked printers, and a Lacie NAS box. We're a mix of Macs (mostly), Windows (some), and Linux (a little + all of our production systems). Our remote offices (NY and London) are (currently) just running Apple Airports with local printers.
