A Manager, IT at ON24 is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the IT department. This person is responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of both the corporate & production internal and external Windows systems. He or she supervises the staff and work involved with keeping the company?s users and systems running optimally.
? Manage all aspects of the IT day-to-day operation covering multiple regions/offices & data centers.
? Enforce IT policies (storage, email, accounts, passwords, & compliance)
? Participate in the evolution and improvement of the IT department.

? Work outside the department with other technical teams to gather consensus for delivery on projects and tasks.
? Responsible for all corporate and production Microsoft Windows workstations & servers, Macs, Cisco Call Manager, Exchange, SharePoint and Virtualization ? Xen & VMware. This includes the hardware from HP, Dell and Cisco UCS.
? Provide advanced troubleshooting and address all problems that surface.
? Supervise full time and part time staff and address escalation when needed. This includes hiring, staff mentoring, disciplinary action and other HR related duties.
? Oversee the helpdesk ticketing system and desktop support function.
? Track licensing and assets.
? Provide reporting and metrics.
? Work IT projects and other staff work.
? Some on-call and after hours support is required. (24x7)
? 7-10 years working hands-on in a technology field with 3-5 years experience in a supervisory/managerial role in an MIS or Information Technology role.
? BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
? Working ?Production? experience with Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Clustering, SharePoint and Virtualization is required.
? Some working knowledge of Linux is required.
? Experience with Symantec Altiris is preferred.
? Comptia A+ or a Microsoft Certification is preferred.
? Demonstrated strong leadership, communication and administrative skills.
? Ability to motivate and communicate clear and concise directions to others.
? Focus on excellent record-keeping as a method to aid in process improvement.
? Must be detail-oriented and an organized thinker able to work in fast-paced environment.
? Integrity, creativity, intellectual curiosity, high standards, persistence, and achievement-oriented approach are all important.
