Description:The IT Production Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all systems in the production data centers and the back office corporate data center. Responsible for all system operations, performance monitoring, and application deployments, across multiple data centers. This position is also responsible for the IS department located in the Portland, OR office.
Day-to-day management of work tasks and projects for the IT Application Engineers and IS Operation team.
Maintain system uptime, availability and reliability to meet SLA requirements with partners.
Provide overall technical, administrative, and managerial leadership to the production teams
Participate in Manager On-Call rotations
Responsible for being incident manager during unplanned outages
IT leader for managing planned maintenances
Properly plan for resources required to satisfy 24x7 operations in a global organization
Assist in developing processes and procedures to better enhance the ability to reduce mean time to recovery, High Availability and multi-site Disaster Recovery.
Assume ownership and complete work with minimal supervision for IT related projects. Supply timeframes, schedule cross-departmental resources and plan maintenance activities with Account management and Project Management teams.
Participate in the virtual INFOSEC team to provide planning for PCI and security related projects and initiatives
Manage the Portland IS department with responsibilities for the Help Desk, building facilities, Call center & corporate computing resources and Corporate applications (ie Exchange, IM, Share Point, Print services, etc)
BS in Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent related work experience and a minimum five years related work experience as a manager
Strong knowledge of Windows 20XX Server family, Exchange Server, SQL Server, AD, DC and IIS (VoIP a plus) and experience with Linux / Unix systems. A working knowledge of enterprise storage and disk subsystems, cluster management as well as basic network architecture is required.
Strong experience implementing process improvements and best practices in a large IT environment
Ability to train, coach, and develop staff to accomplish established goals
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Some travel, night and weekend work will be required in this position
