FieldView Solutions, Inc., is looking for an IT Program Manager to join our high growth, venture backed software startup in its Edison, NJ Corporate Headquarters.FieldView Solutions is the leading provider of real-time Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) data center monitoring software for business. We provide our customers with accurate, reliable information on all critical systems within their data centers, empowering them to make great decisions.
Job Summary
Reporting to the CTO this key leadership role is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to deliver and manage the FieldView products. The individual who be successful in this role will define the vision, definition and strategy for the development team by driving project initiatives that adhere to corporate quality, process and lifecycle standards.
Reporting to the CTO this key leadership role is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to build and maintain software applications that meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate systems analysis and applications development activities through subordinate staff.
Responsible for all employee development and compensation activities for each development team member.
Direct development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices.
Interface with external customers and internal partners on a regular basis to coordinate requirements, schedules, deliverables, resources and issues.
Meet scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner
Demonstrate knowledge of industry best practices for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing the commercial software product.
Serve as a senior technical resource for development team members.
Provide technical leadership as it relates to all aspects of the commercial software product.
Responsibility for managing an annual operating budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT field
A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an application developer
Must have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft ASP, .NET, VBA, SQL Server, and supporting technologies
A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing an application development team
Must have extensive experience using a structured SDLC methodology
Demonstrated experience as an application architect
Experience managing a development governance process in a multi-stakeholder environment
Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
A record of successful software projects and implementations as a developer, lead and manager
Entrepreneurial approach and willingness to working in a start up environment
Impeccable verbal and written communications skills
