The IT Support Analyst is responsible for assisting employees with support of IT services, PC, Network, Telephone system. Provides 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support. Provides systems administration services to application and database development and serves as backup resource to the IT Infrastructure Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists corporate employees with simple to complex PC problems, providing 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support.
Works with IT Team to implement key IT infrastructure projects maintaining a secure, stable environment while improving end user experience.
Serve as backup to IT Infrastructure Team.
Share ?on-call? duties for the IT department.
The employee is occasionally required to work extended hours.
Four or more years of related experience and/or training.
Any or all of MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA and CCNA designations are preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of networking and server communication in a Microsoft environment.
Knowledgeable in Active Directory services and security.
Experienced in remote access solutions and VPN technologies.
Working level knowledge of MS Office suite
Working level skills with current version of MS SQL Server and Exchange.
Expert level skills with current version of MS windows OS client and server.
Familiarity with the concepts of Accounting software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software and Contact Management systems in use at X-IO
Familiarity with UNIX and other common technologies.
Basic familiarity with Java; .Net; Python; Cold Fusion; SQL; Citrix; Oracle; Jet; Access2000 and Access97 are preferred but not required.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
