AddThis runs a sophisticated large-scale infrastructure that is touched by billions of end users. We are looking for an IT Administrator to help us provide support to a service-oriented computing environment. This role is primarily user support responding to and resolving technical issues. This role will provide lots of exposure to all facets of IT and Operations and is a huge opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide end-user support, resolving technical issues and providing technical assistance for both Windows and Mac environments
Provide remote support to end-users via phone and remote control tools
Provide end-user support for mobile devices platforms including iOS and Android
Provide end-user support for VoIP telephones in addition to both tele- and video-conferencing systems
Set up new hires with equipment and appropriate access and help familiarize them with systems, etc.
Identify and escalate issues as appropriate
Support and maintenance of printers and other IT-related hardware including server room equipment
Support and maintenance of business software applications
Assist with IT related projects as they arise
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor?s degree or related experience required
At least three years of proven experience supporting end users providing technical assistance and resolving technical issues for both Windows and Mac environments
Proven experience diagnosing complex technical laptop issues, Google application support, mobile device support (Android and iOS)
Proven experience troubleshooting IT-related issues
Proven ability to work well in a team environment
Proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple critical issues
Proven ability to quickly adapt to change
Proven customer service skills
