IT Support Analyst Fortify Software
To support our growth, we're looking for a flexible and dynamic IT Support Analyst to be the primary point of contact for day-to-day issues that our users may have, work on projects, as well as provide as-needed assistance for our cutting-edge infrastructure, built of best-of-breed technologies. The following is a summary of what would be expected of the successful candidate:
- Troubleshoot and help users with desktop, laptop and email issues on the Microsoft Windows XP and Apple Macintosh platforms
- Install new systems both custom builds and automated image deployments
- Troubleshoot basic end-user network problems (wired, wireless and VPN)
- Day-to-day management of our User Directory Services
- Help users with their Blackberry and iPhone Mobile Data Devices
- Prioritize issues using the IT Ticket Tracking system
- Document procedures and How-To's for our Self-Service Intranet site
- Be responsible for responding to out-of-hours emergency calls as required
- Must be able to work well in teams, as well as be self-motivated to ensure that user issues are resolved in a quick, efficient and friendly manner.
In addition to the above, the following skills would be a bonus:
- Linux desktop/laptop operating systems
- OpenOffice.Org Office Suite (for Linux)
Experience / Qualifications / Other:
- 2+ years experience supporting corporate users in a hands-on capacity
- Ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit internal customers in their locations
- The ability to lift/carry/move weights up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend and kneel within small quarters.
- Good hand & eye coordination as well as arm, hand and finger dexterity
- The ability to grasp small objects
- Requires sitting for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Occasionally be able to work outside of normal business hours
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or other related field a bonus.
