Role Description
Provide end user desktop and infrastructure systems support to ServiceSource employees in fast paced office. Responsible for a variety of applications, hardware, and networking support as well as general IT operations duties. This is an Senior level position and requires 5+ years of professional Corporate IT support experience in a corporate Windows domain environment in a Mid size company. Demonstrated technical troubleshooting abilities are a must. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a broad range of technical experience and strong sense of ownership. This is a highly visible position and requires excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Respond to user support requests as they arrive in the IT helpdesk system.
Troubleshoot technical issues with company software and productivity applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook/Exchange, and select applications.
Support remote access and applications provided by business partners.
Provide TCP/IP network and VPN support across various end user configurations.
Setup new user accounts in Active Directory & Exchange 2003.
Perform server and network administration duties to resolve end user support issues.
Configure and install Windows workstations and laptops.
Manage hardware/software purchasing, inventory, and licensing
Work with vendors and suppliers
Perform other duties related to the operations of the IT department, as required.
Qualifications
5+ years desktop support experience in a corporate environment.
5+ years experience supporting Windows clients in a domain environment.
5+ years experience supporting users of MS Office 2003/2007
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.
Demonstrated TCP/IP knowledge and troubleshooting abilities a must.
VMWare Workstation, Symantec Ghost, Microsoft SharePoint, and Blackberry experience highly desired.
