Job Qualifications (basic job description):
Qualified Candidate must have relevant experience in Information Systems. The Candidate must be highly motivated, willing to learn, a good problem solver that is able to interact with a dynamic environment and users, while being professional and growing as a team player within the IT department.
Specific Responsibilities:
The IT Support Specialist candidate would be responsible for providing all phases of help to Aurora Employees under the direct supervision of the IT Site Supervisor and under the guidance of the Network Administrator. Responsibilities would include; relocation of IT resources as required by users and approved by IT Site Supervisor, Individualized hardware/software support and training, New User deployment, ensuring upgrades of Operating Systems/Anti-Virus and Software is maintained, preventative maintenance of hardware, day-to-day User support, and support on LAN configuration as required.
Minimum Requirements (education and experience):
Qualified Candidate must have relevant entry level experience in Information Systems and support of Information Systems equaling an Associate's Degree or equivalent 2 years experience. Must possess basic Administration skills for Unix/Linux.
