onefinestay is searching for an IT support specialist who's personable, pragmatic and persevering. Our people rely on technology to get the job done, so when it breaks down, we need someone on the scene to solve all our staff?s troubles. Have you got the skills up your sleeves?
The day-to-day case work will include helping users with their computers, software, wired and wireless networks, data and telecommunications, and other IT support functions. But unlike the animated detective, you won?t ever fall to pieces when a gadget fails: your calm, collected disposition will earn your colleagues love and gratitude.

Responding to all problems (including logging, prioritizing and resolving)
Ensuring your end-users have the technology they need to work hard and get it done
Using your knowledge of applications used by staff to resolve issues quickly
Identifying hardware, software, and networking issues and implement guidelines for staff to troubleshoot on their own
Creating and subscribing to an action plan for problem resolution -- initiating and tracking problem assignments to other IT resources, vendors, and so forth, and by keeping staff updated on the status of problem resolution.
Implementing policies, procedures, and associated training plans for IT support
Remaining cool, calm and collected under stress. You'll be working with frequent interruptions.
Willing to be hands on with daily support and creatively solving problems
Availability for 24/7 support
Solid experience in an IT Support role.
Customer support and desktop support a plus.
IT certifications (A+, MS, HDI, etc.) will be a bonus.
You're able to identify and resolve problems quickly
You're open to other's ideas and willing to try alternative approaches
You've got strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
You're willing to make decisions ? you've got sound and accurate judgment and you can explain your reasons
You can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
You're highly self-motivated and independent
You've successfully managed projects in the past
You're ready to share onefinestay's mission and values
You're ready to jet-set -- travel will be required
