THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to local and remote users including software installation and end-user software support.
Support user desktops, laptops, VoIP phones, and printers.
Assist with network and server upgrades.
Assist with regular maintenance cycles.
Associates degree in CS, EE, or ECE (Bachelor--??s degree preferred) with 1 - 2 years of related experience.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 3.1 - Windows 7)
Must be familiar with MS Office 2007 - MS Office 2013
General understanding of TCP/IP and other networking concepts.
General Linux experience.
The ability to respond timely and accurately in a busy, high-pressure technical support environment.
When appropriate, escalate unresolved problems to subject matter experts/technical support staff in a timely manner, providing all necessary information and collaborate responses accordingly.
Strong oral and written skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as: Perl, Python, Powershell, etc.
