AgraQuest, Inc. is currently seeking to fill a temporary IT Support position. In this role you will provide
hands?on IT support for the company.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
? Provide on?site IT support for all users including:
o General assistance with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and
Access.
o Troubleshoot and resolve laptop/desktop issues
o Remote control remote user systems to resolve issues
? Set up new computers and new user accounts
? Verify backups ran correctly ? assist with resolving issues
? Verify the remote user backups are run and valid
? Manage downloads and changes to all laptops and desktops
? When changes are made to SOP, make sure all computers are changed to comply with new
procedures
? Keep procedures and systems documentation current
? Report computer issues to vendor support, working through diagnostics and implementing the
resolution
? Manage user requests for hardware, peripherals, and accessories
? Keep hardware inventory and user information database up to date
? Manage user hardware files, software inventory, and server files
? Supports Company?s position of preventing harassment
? Treats co?workers with respect and dignity
? Abides by all safety policies
Educational Requirements and Job Experience:
? MIS or Computer Science degree, or other related degree (degree in progress is acceptable)
? CompTIA A+ required within 3 months of full?time employment
? Previous experience (within past 18 months) working in a help desk environment
? Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (2007, 2010)
? Experience with Windows 7 and XP
? Comfortable with troubleshooting Desktop & Laptop computers from an individual part level
(i.e., hard drive, video card, NIC, etc.)
Knowledge:
? Basic mathematic principles
? Microsoft Windows 7 standard set up
? Microsoft Office Suite
? The basic principles of support and tracking tickets
Skills:
? Troubleshooting using common sense
? Patience with users who may be confused and unable to provide clear information
? Verbal communication skills to allow them to assist those users without using technical terms,
both in person and on the phone
? Written communication skills to create user documentation as necessary
Abilities:
? Ability to replace parts on a computer
? Ability to verbally walk a user through screens without confusing them
? Ability to take a list of tasks and complete them without direct supervision
? Ability to handle multiple projects at once, and prioritize tasks and events towards a goal
? Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists
? Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
? Ability to multi?task and work in a fast paced environment
? Effectively organize, prioritize and follow?up on work assignments
? Maintain accurate records
