Plan, design, procure, configure, install, optimize, manage, and maintain optimal availability of all technology assets, including but not limited to enterprise Active Directory domain infrastructure, Exchange & Lync 2010 and Windows Server 2008R2. Successful candidate will demonstrate senior-level expertise and proactive capabilities to manage UnitedLex enterprise platforms.
Provide telephone or online support to the end-user community on hardware, software, and advise on appropriate use of enterprise systems
Diagnose problems and/or problem requiring physical interaction with the end user; escalate technical support where appropriate.
Open, track, and close trouble tickets; ensure problem ownership and promoting end-user satisfaction.
Work with senior staff and other groups to resolve technical problems.
Create tickets, respond to tickets, and escalate tickets as necessary. Each ticket must have detailed troubleshooting documentation that explains the problem, work done on the problem and the resolution to the problem.
Provide timely responses to client and management requests. Status updates on such requests need to be provided on a regular basis.
Follow set policies and procedures when assisting clients to ensure proper handling of requests.
Contribute knowledge and updated information to maintain the system administration SOPs and Training manuals for support.
Assist in new hire training to ensure successful integration into the team.
Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service at all times, to include maintaining a good work ethic and assisting other analysts and senior staff when needed.
As well as completing other duties as assigned outside of normal workload.
Experience and Skills
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
4 - 5 years experience in similar role
Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
A thorough understanding of technical support practices such as ticket documentation, service level agreements, statistics and escalation processes. ITIL process experience is preferred.
Senior-level experience with SCCM, Active Directory 2010, Exchange & Lync 2010
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Industry certifications such as MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), A+, etc.
Experience with monitoring systems such as Orion Application Monitor is a plus.
Quick learner, self-starter, the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to work within time constraints and follow set processes and procedures.
Customer focused, a team player, and able to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Wide range of skills and knowledge in server OS and hardware.
Microsoft Windows Platforms, DNS, DHCP, AD, LDAP.
Enterprise Backup Technologies such as Symantec Backup Exe
MS SharePoint, MS IIS, MS OCS, MS Terminal Services
