Job DescriptionOur company is a leader in voice processing and noise suppression experiencing significant growth in all areas and as such we are looking to add a Systems Administrator to the IT team to help with desktop support issues as well as some server support.
The position also has the high potential for exposure to several technologies and products including: Windows, Macs, Linux, AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Cisco and HP Networking, NetApp, VMware virtualization, Disk to Disk and Tape Backups, Grid Computing, Network Security, and Server and Network Hardware.
Main Responsibilities
Daily support of end users and desktop support issues
Setup new users including creating AD, Exchange, and Linux accounts
Image new systems and install software applications
Help monitor and administer certain client management systems including client backup, anti-virus, etc.
Help with documentation and training for end-users
Experience, Skills, and Education Preferred
Certification in MCP, A+, Linux
At least 4 years of experience in a Desktop Support or System Administration role
Experienced in dealing with the latest laptop and desktop computer hardware
Very good communication, very well organized, and ability to multi-task
