Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Shopping, this role is a key part of our amazing Product Shopping sales team for Nextag.com. The Japanese Bilingal Sales Support is an expert in providing the sales team comprehensive support and ensuring the best service and communication for our external and internal customers in the US and in Japan. This position is based in San Mateo, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Put together data and materials for US merchant communications in cooperation with other departments, such as Creative or Product Development
- Help to maintain/improve content in our merchant database
- Help to maintain the marketing calendar and collateral and e-mail lists archives
- Provide customer support for Japanese merchants and end-users via email
- Manage invoicing process and bank statement maintenance for our Japan business
- Help to process and organize Japanese legal documents
- Monitor the monthly budgets of merchants and optimize or notify account managers accordingly
- Review the site content quality and summarize the findings for improvement
- Other sales & marketing support tasks as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Japanese
- A good listener, well organized and detail oriented
- Proficient knowledge of Win 2000/XP and MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Team oriented with the ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service ethics
- Solid knowledge of Internet and ability to adapt to new technology and changes
- Ability to navigate a computerized data entry system and other relevant applications
- University degree required
- Proficient working with HTML; additional graphic and web design skills a plus
- Knowledge of sales or marketing CRM software such as salesforce or silverpop is a plus
- Some experience with DB Query is a plus
