As a Java Software Engineer, you would be assigned to work on existing and new products. Responsibilities include individual and team programming, debugging and documentation. Some interaction with customers, either via phone or email, may also occur. This is a full time position with benefits, including a generous vacation policy, and health, dental, life and disability insurance. Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with Java
Recent J2EE experience (JPA, EJBs, MDBs, Servlets, JSPs)
In-depth knowledge of SQL queries, and experience with MS SQL, Oracle, or MySQL
Experience with XML and XSLT
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferable
Strong grasp of Object-Oriented design and development
Experience with unit testing frameworks (eg jUnit)
Experience on both Windows and Linux, and respective platform shell scripting
Comfortable and productive in team and individual roles
Comfortable with customer contact and support
Strong English language verbal and written communication skills.
