What you?ll doAs a JAVA Programmer, you will be working in all phases of software development cycle including design, development, testing and debugging to create web services and user interfaces in medium to complex systems with full scale SOA implementation. You will be writing new programs or modify and support existing programs following standard procedures and techniques for software development, testing and maintenance. Candidate must have sufficient expertise to translate business requirements across multiple applications into technical and functional requirements. Candidate must be innovative and self sufficient to be able to work in isolated environment and capable of working with offshore teams with minimum supervision. Successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills to locate and isolate problems for debugging issues in existing or new code.
How you?ll do it
Design and develop web services (SOAP and RESTful).
Design and develop web applications using GWT, HTML5, jQuery and UIBinder.
Experience with configuration and maintenance of JBoss application server and other web application servers like Apache Tomcat.
Experience with java caching, Hibernate ORM framework and MySQL database.
Design and develop thread safe multi threaded applications using modular, multi layered design patterns.
Excellent knowledge of communication protocols and technologies like SSL, HTTP, SOAP, RESTeasy and GWT.
Having expertise in security risks involved in cloud services and possible solution to develop high traffic secure systems.
Work closely with offshore development and Quality Assurance teams.
Perform technical research and propose viable technical solutions and make improvements in current processes and applications.
Work closely with mobile app developers, embedded systems developers and UI prototype developers.
Demonstrate Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work on windows as well as Linux platforms.
Demonstrate ability to work on Linux platform and ability to understand and create basic shell scripts.
Perform all duties with excellent time management and organizational skills
Work with teams in agile/scrum methodology.
What you?ll need
Excellent programming skills in java
Expertise in using Eclipse IDE
Familiar with JBoss application server. Experience with JBoss ESB is a plus.
Familiar with SOAP & RESTful web services, Hibernate, GWT, UIBinder, JAXB, Servlets, Java Caching and Java Security.
Familiar with JavaScript and Html. Experience with HTML5 is a plus.
Familiar with MySQL, SQL and XML.
Knowledge of NAT, STUN TURN and ICE is a plus.
Knowledge of HDFS, Amazon cloud, Amazon S3 is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/scrum development methodology is a plus.
What you?ve done
Bachelor of Science degree or may have a Master of Science degree, in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of Java experience.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of Java EE / EJB3 /web services experience
Must have 1-year of GWT experience.
