Java Software Engineer LiveVox

Summary

LiveVox is looking for a talented Java software engineer that wants to become part of our world class engineering team. LiveVox provides a cloud based contact solution, which enables our clients to reach out to their contacts via Voice, SMS, and email. Were looking for developers who like to code and explore new technologies. Our current stack consists of LAMP, Java, Oracle, VoIP, and SMS.

If you build software projects or web applications, then wed love to talk to you. Ideally, youd have some experience in real-world enterprise application design, development, and hosting using Java, as well as additional Web based and applications programming experience and a working knowledge of Oracle and SQL.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features according to plan with a focus on timely delivery and quality.
Rapid deployment and improvement of existing software components.

Analyze, troubleshoot and fix problems found during the QA phase.

Provide continuous improvement of existing software development processes and methodologies.

REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years of experience in software development with Java preferably with EclipseMyEclipse.

Some experience with a flavor of Linux, e.g. CentOS, Fedora, or RHEL.
Experience working with JDBC.
Any experience with VXML, VOIP, Apache, Oracle is a plus
Any experience with User Interface Design or graphics is a plus
