We're looking for a talented Java athlete with ample experience in building and working with RESTful web services, to develop our next high-impact customer facing product offering.
Desired Skills and Experience
You have 4+ years of Java web application development
You are fluent in Middle-tier Java web application development, RESTful web services development
You have worked with and are familiar with HTML5/CSS3, charting libraries, writing raw JavaScript and other Web standards.
You have previous start-up experience; be willing to work in the fast-paced, agile environment, and be ready to add your input to the strategic direction of the company
You write code with performance and compatibility in mind.
You have excellent communication skills to collaborate, grasp and translate business needs into highly optimized data structures and flows
You are highly organized individual with an elevated sense of personal responsibility
Bonus points if you have experience in data visualization, Python, or PHP
Primary Responsibilities
Daily interaction and collaboration with our UX/UI Design and Platform Developers.
Daily attendance and participation in stand-up meetings.
Develop, and own the service layer of a highly utilized, customer facing data and configuration API
Coordinate with a small team of engineers on API design and implementation
Communicate and collaborate on a daily basis with all team members to produce a user-centered web application.
