Maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to organization/project policies, regulations and procedures.

Keeps immediate supervisor well-informed of activities, results of efforts, and problems identified/potential problems; recommends corrective actions to immediate supervisor.
Respects confidentiality in discussing participant/consumer, staff, volunteers and organizational matters.
Maintains confidentiality of organization fiscal and personnel related information.
Reports to work regularly and on time.
Conducts system analysis and design. Translates business requirements into system designs and applications. Prepares functional specifications.
Create detailed Functional Design documents including descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications. Develop test plan for programs to assure functionality of the application.
Participate in development and maintenance of thorough, up-to-date, functional and systems documentation, business process flow diagrams and end-user training material.
Involved in error correction and testing of upgrades of the applications as needed.
Prepares reports for workshops, seminars, conferences, meetings and trainings attended pertinent to the efficient dispatch of duties.
Prepares and conducts presentations as needed.
Assist in the development of organizational, system and technology goals; assist in the development of detailed plans for goal accomplishment.
Analyzes information and technology needs from a strategic and operational perspective; makes recommendations.
Participates in management and system/technology meetings.
Remedies technology issues/problems.
Ensures the availability, continuity and security of data and information.
Utilizes technology to achieve organizational goals.
Develop and manage internal system and technology training as needed.
Assist in maintenance and testing of the organizational technology plan, including disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Stays abreast of trends and innovations in the field of information systems/technology that could benefit the organization; documents findings/rationale and recommendations to supervisors.
Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
Five or more years experience in implementing/supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software with the ability to demonstrate a working knowledge and expertise in the JDE Distribution modules.
Key JDE areas needed:
Sales Order Management
JDE development experience. Able to create forms, programs and reports.
Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases preferred
Experience with a BI program such as SAP Business Objects is preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
