Overview:
Junior Account Executive ? Advertising Sales
Position Summary
The Junior Account Executive ? Advertising Sales, is responsible for selling online marketing and advertising solutions to Pharmaceutical clients and their agencies. S/he will report to and work closely with the Midwest Director of Strategic Partnerships to identify, prospect, and sell from a target account list for the assigned territory.
S/he will also work hand-in-hand with cross-functional departments including the Sales Planning, Sales Development, and Client Services teams to create compelling advertising and marketing solutions for clients that maximize revenue. S/he will offer input and advise on product development needs to ensure successful creative and tactical execution of all advertising and sponsorship programs. The position is based in Chicago, IL and requires some travel and frequent client entertainment, primarily within the Midwest area.
Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
Deliver/exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
Create and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales strategy and plan
Day-to-day liaison for all assigned and territory sales-related activities/issues
Weekly reporting on all sales activities and initiatives
Quarterly business plan updates and reviews to management & clients
Attend and contribute to all client meetings
Collaboration with all cross-functional departments including but not limited to Sales Development, Sales Planning, Account Management, and Advertising Operations
Coordinate communications and develop client outreach strategies; track client correspondence and develop status reports to effectively manage new sales opportunities and upsells; create client map identifying key senior brand and digital contacts for all accounts

Job Requirements
1-2 years experience selling to Pharmaceutical, OTC, or CPG marketers/agencies with digital health experience
Proven history of meeting/exceeding goals
Ability to drive, prioritize, and deliver business objectives
Comfortable selling to senior level executives at top agencies and clients
Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills
