MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build positions, process personnel and payroll actions, including awards and benefits, and effectively resolve and correct processing errors
Develop and implement records systems
Inventory agencies records collections
Develop QA plans and apply them to identified records collections
Purge unnecessary documentation
Closeout and transmit records to archive (National Archives Federal Records Center) per SOP
Conduct audit and transfer record to new Federal agency when employees transfer to another Federal agency
Perform quality checks of scanned eOPF records to ensure records are complete, readable, and up-to-date.
Scan documents for new hires and existing employees per SOPs
Request OPF/eOPFs of new employees with prior federal service
Transmit new hire documents to eOPF via Onboarding Manager
Monitor eOPF transmission status for forms/documents within Onboarding Manager
Conduct 100% quality check of all new hire records within eOPF to ensure documents and forms transmitted correctly
Purge records from Onboarding Manager after the eOPF quality check is complete (purge must occur within 90 days of EOD).
Manage incoming documents from various sources (e.g., SF-1150).
Conduct audits on the agency systems of records and OPFs/eOPFs.
Analyze and accurately resolve scanning discrepancies in eOPFs that are reported from HR Staff through the HR Systems support database, email or by phone call within 72 hours.
Analyze and accurately resolves discrepancies reported by agency through departmental audits within 72 hours.
Develop and implement a web-accessible PD library; including an appropriate indexing and retrieval taxonomy; convert existing paper PDs to electronic format
Identify and retrieve, where possible, electronic copies of PDs; and establish a format and routine for capturing, maintaining, updating, and indexing PDs.
Bachelor's Degree+3 years' experience, or 6 years' experience without bachelors.
Experience must include auditing and maintaining OPFs in a federal environment.
Must be a US Citizen.
