Position: Jr Project Manager

If you?re a detail-oriented, deadline-driven people-person who wants to work managing projects developing the best software technology in the wellness industry, we want to talk to you.
Usher high tech software development from requirement lists through design, documentation, development, QA, and finally release out into the world.
Work directly with business and product owners, creative designers, subject matter experts in health, fitness, and nutrition, and a wide range of technology experts from software developers to infrastructure and database specialists to QA to produce high tech fitness and wellness solutions.
Day-to-day will include lots of meetings, including: daily ?stand up? check-ins with development teams, coordinating wireframe, design, and related project documentation, biweekly reviews with all stakeholders on each project, and multiple impromptu chats with project participants about questions from development to design to content to documentation.
Upstream reporting, sometimes spur-of-the-moment, on project statuses.
Expect to be jumping back and forth between different projects and shifting gears throughout the day.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for making sure that software development projects are efficiently designed, developed, and are ready to go out into production based on business timelines.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Moderate comfort level and familiarity with technology. This isn?t a software coding position, but you will be managing all technology projects, so must be willing to learn about new technologies and how to speak comfortably about them.
Strong interpersonal skills. You will be working with up to dozens of people on a given project, so you must be able to work comfortably with all of them, even when they don?t work comfortably with one another.
Have a ?get the job done? attitude. You should never be willing to say, ?it?s not my job,? and walk away from a problem.
Minimal domestic travel- 2 to 3 cumulative weeks per year.
Minimum 1+ years in project management or at a technology firm.
Experience with SCRUM/ Agile development methodology.
Experience with Jira and Greenhopper.
Experience with, or personal interest in, health and wellness.
