New Ventures (formerly R&D) focuses on expanding Adknowledge?s position in the marketplace through exploring high growth opportunities within the online advertising industry.
The specific area of focus for this role is on the Cubics product. Cubics is a platform connecting over 1200 Facebook applications and over 700 websites with thousands of advertisers.
The team consists of Account Managers, Media Buyers, Developers and Analysts. This position will report to the Manager of Demand Development.
The Account Manager is responsible for client retention, revenue growth, media planning and business analysis for our Display product. This individual should have highly developed communication skills, a core understanding of and/or interest in the online display business, and analytical skills for investigating business metrics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships and identifying growth opportunities with those clients. This position provides any bright, ambitious candidate with hands-on learning experience and an opportunity to grow and succeed quickly within a great organization. Primary duties include:
1.Client Retention: The Account Manager will be actively managing clients through continual relationship building, providing consultative services, analyzing and reviewing data, as well as providing general account management.
2.Revenue Growth: A key function of the Account Manager position is to grow revenues through identifying opportunities for advertisers to grow spend. The Account Manager will be expected to up-sell advertisers when new sites/traffic sources are introduced to the Ad Network (video pre-roll, mobile, etc.) and cross-sell, when possible.
3.Media Planning: The Account Manager will be responsible for creating, on a small scale, a media plan based on advertiser objectives and budget.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:
Experience interacting with customers/clients.
A clear understanding of or interest in digital advertising as it relates to display, search, mobile and video advertising.
Experience building strong personal relationships and overcoming tough issues in positive ways.
Ability to analyze large data sets and quantify what they mean
Highly organized, used to managing multiple projects with great attention to detail.
