Description:Reports to the Finance Operations Manager.
Primary responsibility is to execute and manage company?s salaried and hourly payroll process. Duties related to payroll would include:
Contacts and assists managers in process of obtaining information for payroll production and tax related issues.
Verifies totals, responds to/resolves employee questions and problems and delivers quality customer service.
Ensures payroll and personal information of employees is safeguarded and treated with complete confidentiality.
Other duties would include:
General Ledger Account Reconciliation, Cash Application, Bank Reconciliations and other aspects of Finance.
Ad-hoc projects or analysis
Regularly demonstrates flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and interface with other departments (particularly Human Resources and Call Center management).
Duties:
Performs account reconciliations and provides Finance support.
Prepares management reports as requested.
Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data including garnishments, insurance, PTO, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Polls electronic time clocks (Enterprise e-time software) and reviews the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
Collects and enters time records for all exempt staff.
Processes accurate and timely bi-weekly transfer of payroll data to ADP.
Performs regular audits of all payroll documents.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Must work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently and possess a high level of self motivation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent from four-year college or technical school.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Two to three years ADP experience.
Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.
Clear written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner.
Good time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Must have demonstrated history of impeccable integrity, ethics and fair play.
Self starter and a team player that will thrive in a fast paced environment.
