We are seeking a Junior Accountant, located in our San Mateo, CA headquarter.

Keynote is seeking a Junior Accountant. The position will report directly to the Revenue Manager and will work closely with Accounting, Sales, Legal and external customers to ensure the adherence of all policies and procedures, consistent with US GAAP.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Review contracts for compliance with SAB104, EITF-08-1(ASU2009-13).
Ensure accurate revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable accounting consistent with US GAAP.
Work with Sales and Legal services on contract issues during negotiations, provide suggestions in order to ensure proper revenue recognition.
Review, analyze, and interpret sales orders to determine billing. Validate customer?s monthly usage reports for invoicing
Support Sales with inquiries regarding customer accounts and analyze billing variances. Work closely with Collections to research and resolve customer billing questions and/or issues.
Collaborate with Sales, Collections, and Order Admin to process cancellations and credits.
Maintain accurate records, subsidiary ledgers and control reports
Prepare proper accounting entries for Keynote?s Red Alert transactions.
Handle International payment applications
Participate in quarterly external audits and monthly close process including preparing journal entries, revenue memos, revenue reports, account reconciliations, business tax filings, and tracking customer PO balances, etc
Participate in SOX testing process by the Company?s internal auditors
Work on special assignments and projects as required
Ensure adherence to company policy and procurement process
Develop and implement processes and controls to help increase efficiencies and reduce business risk.
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
1 - 3 years of accounting/administrative experience
Knowledge of, and practical experience with, current Revenue pronouncements, particularly SAB 104 and EITF08-1 a plus
Strong in Excel (including Vlookup. pivot tables, etc) a must
Must be extremely detail-oriented
Strong communication skills
Strong accounting, analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Have a sense of urgency and able to handle multi-tasks and prioritize in a fast pace environment
Ability to work independently and as a team player, willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Ability to think ''outside the box,'' identify and resolve the problems
