If this sounds like you, then continue to read on!The Telerik team is growing and we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Waltham, MA. This person will work closely with the Finance/Accounting team based in the US and also interact with offices abroad.
If you were a part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week as a Junior Accountant:
? Prepared journal entries and general ledger operations
? Assisted with review and processing of expense reports
? Monitored and resolved payment discrepancies and assisted with customer billing inquiries
? Assisted with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
? Reconciled and maintained balance sheet accounts
? Prepared variance analysis of expense accounts as requested
? Supported year-end closings and preparation for annual audit
? Participated in preparation of budgets and forecasts
? Collaborated on implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
? Assisted with documentation of accounting processes, procedures, and controls, cross-training
? Communicated accounting expense and billing policy and procedures to other teams
You will be the person who has (a):
? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance
? At least 1 year of experience in accounting
? Solid theoretical and practical accounting knowledge
? Experience with Oracle or SAP is considered highly advantageous
? Software industry knowledge is a plus
? Excellent communication skills demonstrated through proactivity and self-starter approach
? Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
? Team player mentality with a positive and helpful attitude
